Some of you might remember Kelly Family Session 1.0 from May 2009. We have now moved on, to version 2.0 – complete with Scott, Megan, Anna, Sophie, Drew, and even sweet Rosie! We went out together the other evening and poked around an historic train yard outside of Boulder, got to play on the trains, walk in lush Colorado fields bathed in sunset light, and in general have fun laughing and capturing what we could of everything that is the Kelly family. It was a lot of fun, and Laura and I decided afterwards that we’d definitely like to shoot more families like the Kelly’s in the future. Such a blast!
Kelly fam, we hope you enjoy the photos!
Sophie & Rosie. Love this shot!

Drew is almost 2, and super curious, not to mention super cute. I think he saw a puddy tat here.
A shot with everyone looking at once? I mean, this is close, right?

Anna – such a natural.

So sweet.

I call this one “Drew and shoes.”

I did, I did!

Helicopter!

The girls!!

And everyone! Drew was especially happy to do this one ( love this shot!)

ROSIE!!!

Drew figured out how to honk the horn in this crazy little contraption, and it was alllllll over. One of my faves…

Catch Drew!!

Finally! I get to just tromp around!

So, so sweet, these two.

Sophie, rocking the tractor like it’s going out of style. And LOVE the shot on the right.

WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Emotional ceremony…love these shots:

This was a brilliant team effort from the bridal party…first Damien gave everyone a lesson on how to do a side-heel-click (think: leprechaun-style), and then everyone gave it their all for a coordinated heel-click. Even though they weren’t perfectly synced, the result is still pretty super:
Beautiful bride!
Feel like I captured something silent, something undeniably sweet between A&D in this photo…
